PCB Laser Toner Method

The easiest way I have found so far to make a PCB is to use the Toner Transfer method. You will need some basic supplies to include the following items to complete this task.

The above three items in include an iron, copper PCB, and my circuit printed with a laser printer onto a transparency. The next step is to let the iron heat up to about 380 degrees Fahrenheit.

Once the iron is good and hot cut out one of the circuits transparencies and place it on to the PCB toner side down.

Now place the iron on top of the transparency and uniformly heat the underlying transparency. (That means move the iron!)

I don’t normally wait for it to cool down I will normally just peel the transparency off once the time is up. You can clearly see the difference between the one that I uniformly heated and didn’t below. The whole process took less than 3 minutes.
